I'm happy to pass along information regarding fundraisers that teams from this year's Relay For Life event for the American Cancer Society are doing. I am not associated with any of the teams below, but believe that word of mouth is one of the best ways to fund-raise. Thank you for your support for the American Cancer Society.
Friday, July 2 - Jodie Thuringer from the Sammons Financial Group team (and her friends) will be pumping gas for donations at the Pump-N-Pak in Canton (110 West 5th St) from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. All proceeds will benefit Relay For Life.
Saturday, July 3 - Angels Among Us will be selling red, white, or blue metallic necklaces and lighted necklaces in front of Temple Insurance (120 S Main) in Lennox during Cruise Night. Chance tickets for beef will also be sold - contact Traci Stensaas at 940-3993 for more information.
Now until the day of Relay - Stamping and Stomping for a Cure will be selling homemade cards for just $1.00 each. With cards for every occasion, 100% of sales will go towards Relay. If interested, plesae contact Lisa at lgonzale@good-sam.com.
Wednesday, August 4 - Citibank Teams 1, 2 & 3 will be having a Schwan's Truck Load event at Citibank (701 E 60th St N, SF) from 2:00 to 6:30 pm. If you can't make it out to the sale, gift certificates can be ordered at 888.724.9267 and by providing campaign ID "28510" before August 4. A percentage of sales will be donated directly to Relay For Life.
