Today marks the start of the 2010 Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls. Here is a $1 off gate admission coupon. This will help reduce the gate admission from $5 to $4.
There are several free things to do while at the fair including:
The Power of Fire House - strongly urge this for families with children. I helped out with this exhibit last year and learned a lot myself! Last year the kiddos were able to pick up coloring books, etc from this area as well. And the parents got a free fire/smoke detector. Not sure if they are giving anything away like that this year...but worth a look!
Saftey Town - near the Power of Fire House, fun activities for kids, possibility of winning prizes, etc!
Music - several performances at the Front Porch
Animals - of course make sure you check out the 4-H animals!
