Saving - Sunshine Deals This Week & Update On Coupon Policy!

As you may recall, I recently posted that I no longer do matchups at Sunshine because of the change in their coupon policy indicating that the double coupons do not apply for advertised items.  However, I heard from many of you indicating that your Sunshine stores actually allowed you to still use coupons to double on advertised items.  So I contacted Sunshine and this is how they responded:

The statement "does not apply to advertised items..." allows individual store managers the option to limit someone who is for example trying to use 15-.50 Totinos Pizza coupons for an ad price of $1.00.  It just allows us the option to limit how many coupons a person may use on advertised items.

So that being said, go ahead and use coupons for doubling on sale items, but be prepared for them to possibly decline you this opportunity.  However, I do have to respect this policy, as it also protects other customers from those that like to clear shelves.
