Saving - 47 Days Until Christmas! Goodie Platters Tip!

Do you love to bake goodies around the holidays and then put together a big container to share with friends and families?  If so, what do you serve those goodies on when giving them away?  Do you spend money year after year on special Christmas trays or platters?  This is probably one of my least favorite parts of giving away the homemade goodies each year.

Here is a fun suggestion for you!

*Shop garage sales and thrift stores throughout the year, keeping an eye out for nice condition plates, platters, baskets, etc that can be used for serving up your goodies!  At the price of $.25 - $.50 each, this is a great money saver.

Even if the plate or platter is not Christmas specific, you can make any nice plate or platter festive by adding a festive bow or ribbon!
