It seems lately that it is just easier for a cashier to be grumpy, annoyed by my children, or just plain annoyed with the coupons I am using. Between missing things in my bag at a drive-thru, to items ringing up incorrectly or just plain rude or disengaged employees, it has gotten to be frustrating to find good service.
Last night, while shopping at Target with my family, I encountered a very nice cashier by the name of Courtney. She was very courteous, likable, understanding of my children and helpful with the coupons I was using. Courtney did not go out of her way or do anything above and beyond, but she did provide great Customer Service. So, I just wanted to tell Courtney, thank you! Thank you for doing your job in a professional manner and making me (and I am sure others that go through your line) feel like my business is appreciated!
There is a special gal at Walgreens as well, and I will figure out her name!! She deserves a huge thank you as well. She is always so nice to my daughter and makes her feel pretty special. She too is courteous, likable, understanding of my children and helpful with the coupons I am using.
Both of these gals will receive a complimentary letter from yours truly.
Do you know of someone that has done a good job lately? Whether he/she is a cashier, a sacker, a phone service representative, a sales person, etc I encourage you to share it with their manager! You can easily call the store, access the web to find an email address or do it the old-fashioned way and send a letter! Wouldn't you like to hear from your clients that you are doing a good job?!
What are you waiting for?
