  1. my friend just went with her coupons and they told her they dont take manufacturer coupons on sale items and they dont take online printed manufacturer cpns. they only take and double manufacturer cpns up to 50 cents. but you cant use them on ad items.

I find this very interesting because this is not the case. I have purchased items with coupons that are on sale AND have used SEVERAL internet coupons there. Did they state that they recently changed their policy? I was just there on Wednesday. Their ad does state that the double manufacturer coupons (up to $.50) do not include sale items....so I wouldn't be surprised someone is limited here. When I recently contacted the store manager, they indicated that you can use the $.50 coupons to double on some sale items, they just put the verbiage in the ad so that they have the right to limit you. So really that part is a 'your mileage may vary'. I would say that your friends should ask to speak to a manager to explain their coupon policy and ask when it changed.
Maybe I am misunderstanding your post, but I hope I have helped in some way.

  3. is it the same for all sunshines or each store has their own policy? either way, it is best to have coupon policies with you when you shop just in case. it is nice to know that when one is trying to save $$ on groceries, youre not going to be limited to certain stores! thanks for your help.
