Saving - Free Income Tax Prepration and Electronic File Through VITA!

Did you know that if you meet certain qualifications, you can have your income taxes prepared and filed for free?

VITA = Voluntary Income Tax Assistance program. This service is offered nationwide.  You can find your nearest location by going here to a partial listing or by calling 1-800-906-9887.

In Sioux Falls, the University of Sioux Falls participates in the VITA program offering the service to:
*Individuals with income less than $49,000
*Individuals with disabilities
*Individuals with limited English skills

The service is being offered this year at the Main Library each Saturday in February 10 AM - 4 PM.  Walk-ins only, no appointments.
