GIVEAWAY & Review: MasterLock Key Safe!

I am a HUGE believer in locking our doors!  It is such a habit that I once locked my husband outside while he was out doing yard work. Out of habit I locked the front door as I left to go run errands.  This was a time when I did not have a cell phone either and when I arrived home, my husband was (not very patiently) waiting for me on the front step.  Oops!

We also like to go for walks in our neighborhood but must lug the keys in our pockets while we do so.  Often times I wear pants that do not have pockets and it forces me to get a little creative on where I put my keys so that I can still carry them with me!  Those I will keep secret! *smile*

AND I completely dislike when you call a service business that needs to come out to your home to work on something and they simply say, 'just leave your house unlocked we'll be there between noon and who knows when'!  NO thank you!  When I was working outside the home, I would always end up taking a half or full day off just to ensure that the door was 'safely' unlocked for them when they showed up.

I could go on with even more reasons I have learned to really like my MasterLock Key Safe that MasterLock so kindly sent me!  It allows me a bit more freedom, a less likelihood of locking my husband (or myself) out of the house on accident and certainly a more secure feeling when I am "stashing" my extra key somewhere.

There are some great features to the Key Safe.  Although I found the shutter door that protects the key pad a bit 'stiff' to move up and down, I did really enjoy that the Key Safe offered the following:
*Easy set combination.  It offers a 4-number combination, which can easily be changed as frequently as you want!  So for example: You have the furnance repair business coming out today, simply give them a combination you have set and once you get home, change it up!
*Portability - you can simply hang the Key Safe on your door knob if you like, however it is a portable device and you can "hide" it elsewhere if you wish. *smile*  (Now I must note: I do not have the typical door knob on my front door, I have the levers so it wouldn't be secure enough for me to leave it out in the open because it could easily be taken off my front door - therefore I "hide" mine elsewhere.)
*Sturdy - the packaging on the Key Safe boasted that it is "saw proof", now I didn't try to disprove, however the device has been dropped a few times by my curious 2 year old and it has held up with no obvious issues. It is sturdy and I can see it lasting for quite some time.
