Living - LOCALS: 8-Year Old Throws Fund-Raiser Saturday!

I read on a Sioux Falls mother's forum regarding an 8-year old that is throwing a fund-raiser this Saturday to help a family, who she doesn't even know, who had their home, car and personal belongings destroyed by flooding in August.  I wanted to pass along the fund-raising information to the blog, so maybe you can consider running by her house on Saturday to help her with this inspiring project! It is great to see someone so young reaching out to others in their time of need.  What proud parents she must have!

2:30-4:30 PM
4604 S Tomar (57th & Tomar, go North 1 block)
She will be selling cookies, popcorn balls and kool-aid.

    In 2010, the 31st is on Sunday....so which is it? Saturday or Sunday? LOL

    I think it is awesome that a kid is trying to help someone else. I love that!
