Saving - Free Herdez Tortilla Chips HyVee East 10th Location!

Found a nice deal on tortilla chips tonight.  Head over to the East 10th Street Hy-Vee location and you may find Herdez Tortilla Chips marked on Price Decline for $.99.  Use the $1/1 here to grab the chips for free.  Be sure to have additional items in your order to take care of the overage.

The chips are located at the front end of an aisle, closer to the produce section.  I am not sure if they are also located in the normal chip aisle.

My husband also spotted a Schell seasonal 6 pack of beer for $5.00, normally $11!  See he can be a deal shopper too! :-)

Saving - Kraft Macaroni & Cheese BOGO Coupon!

Here is a rare coupon for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.  Head on over to their Facebook page and give Dad a "License to Skim" and you will be able to print a coupon good for BOGO Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

Even if you don't use this product, this is a nice coupon to grab some donation items at a very nice price!

Saving - RARE Powerade Coupon + HyVee Deal!

There is an awesome and rare coupon over here for $1/2 32 oz Powerade! (Be sure to hit your back button 3 times to print it twice).

HyVee has the 32 oz Powerade on a 2-day sale this week (Thursday & Friday) for just $.59, which is a fantabulous price anyway.  Add the coupon and you can grab them for just $.09 each!  That's a hot deal!

And if you are not a fan of Powerade, why not consider grabbing these as great donation items at a very minimal cost to your budget!

Note: coupon does print with Rite Aid logo on it, however is a regular manufacturer coupon and should be valid anywhere that accepts coupons.

Saving & Giving - Did You Know? Finding Ideas On Things To Donate Within Budget!

A while back I tried putting together a weekly post recapping all of the possible freebies or cheapies that would make great donation items, within budget.  However, I found that I couldn't really put it together until late in the week, after you probably hit the deals you already wanted to hit so this post quickly faded away.

However, there is still need within our communities and this effort has not disappeared completely.  And I hope it hasn't disappeared from your minds either.

I have recently been tagging posts with "Saving and Giving" every time I think there might be a great deal that would make a nice donation item.  I have now set up a link for the "Saving and Giving" tag off to the right side of the page under my Favorite Links. 

Please click on the link when you are looking for ways to give back to your community on a budget!  Typically these are freebies or cheapies that will be marked, so just picking up one extra item will go a long way and keep you within your budget!

As I have mentioned before, coupons can be powerful!  Not only do they help you save for your family, but they can help you help provide for another family.

Target has a nice deal on Hanes socks, underwear, boxers and under shirts.  Purchase 4, receive a $5 Target gift card.

There is also a $1/1 Hanes coupon on the Target website here.  Plus keep an eye out for packages that have $.50/1 manufacturer peelies on them!

There is a new Shredded Wheat coupon available over here for $1/1!  I know I have seen the smaller boxes (maybe 9 oz) of Shredded Wheat at Walgreens.  If your store carries these, you can grab Free cereal!

Using either of the coupons above will make this a nice deal, plus money maker!  If you don't need this product, consider donating it.

Living & Saving - LOCALS: Free Bread at Sara Lee Bakery Outlet!

With the holiday season upon us, it is time to start thinking about giving back to our wonderful community.  The Sioux Falls Sara Lee Bakery Outlets are making it even easier to give back this year!

You can find a coupon in the November Shopping News Coupon Book that is good for one free loaf of bread when you bring in a new toy for their Holiday Toy Drive.  I just confirmed with a cashier at one of the outlets that the coupon is good towards any loaf of bread including Sara Lee, Healthy Request, etc!

So if you have been looking for a way to give back this is a great way!  Eve if you have been picking up some great low cost toys, this is a good way to give back to the community on a budget.
