I had to laugh when I saw this coupon because it states clearly, "stickies" rather than Post-It notes.  I always call them "stickies" or "sticky notes" and was corrected years ago to say that they are called Post-its.  Ha!  This proves I am not crazy! Ok, maybe not...

Coupon Insert Organization

Idea #1
If you are looking for a way to organize your weekly inserts so that you can easily reference them while reading your favorite blogs, this idea might be for you.

Write the date on the front of each week's coupon inserts.  Use a file folder like the one on sale this week.  Use a pocket for each week (or more than one if needed) and place that week's inserts into the pocket.

I have found that it is not necessary to label and then re-label the tabs as long as you date the inserts and place them in order of the dates.  This allows for quick reference when you see a blog post or search a coupon database for a coupon and it directs you to SS 12/5, for example.  Then you can easily go to your file folder grab out the Smart Source insert from 12/5 and check it for the specific coupon you are looking for.

Idea #2
Are you looking for a way to organize your clipped coupons?  This idea might work for you.

After clipping your coupons, organize them into piles of like items that will allow for quick reference such as: Baby, Medicine, Canned goods, etc.

With a file folder like the one above, label each of the files with the headers you have chosen.  Place your coupons in the corresponding file.
