Plus be on the lookout for clearance on school supplies!  I found the Target employees busy at marking down several items by 30% yesterday.  If you still have your $.50/1 Scotch tape Target printables (no longer avail), you can grab some cheap tape, possibly free if you also have the $.25/1 8/5 SS as it was marked down to $.70.

Keep in mind that the markdowns also include the lunch boxes (some have coupon booklets inside) and the thermos, sandwich containers, etc.  Let us know what kind of deals you are grabbing!

Keep your eyes open for this little goodie!  It is a rebate good for $5 when you purchase 2 bags of Doritos chips.  No purchase of Bud Light required!

Saving - Minute Maid 100% Juice Box Coupon + Target Deal!

There is a nice coupon available over here good for $1/1 Minute Maid 100% juice box product.  Nice coupon!

Combine the coupon with price cut at Target, where the MM 100% Juice Boxes are $2.69, grab them for just $1.69.  This is a nice price to grab some to gear up for summer travel plans, trips to the park or to finish out the school year with cold lunches.  And I have stuck things like this in Easter baskets before, kids love it!

If you like the Target brand diapers, there is a nice (rare) coupon available over here.  Grab a coupon good for $1.50 any box of Target Up & Up diapers.

Saving - Tag Books $6.99 at Target!

Remember the $3/1 Tag Book coupon I told you about here?  Great news!  Target now has several of their Tag books on price cut, down from $13.99 to $9.99.  So combine this great price cut with the coupon and snag them for just $6.99.  That's 50% savings!

I hope to grab the Spiderman and Tangled books for my kiddos' Easter baskets!

*Note: I did notice a few Tag books prices reduced at Walmart, however they are marked to $9.98, so you would not be able to use this coupon since it is good on books $9.99 or greater.

Looking for something to donate to your local food pantry, here is a great way to do it with very little cost to you (tax and printing)!  Easy!

Saving - Cheerios Multi Grain Peanut Butter Coupon & Target Deal!

There is a nice coupon available over here good for $1 off a box of Multi Grain Cheerios Peanut Butter cereal!  I saw these at Target the other day and had a hard time walking away, as they sounded sooo yummy.  They are on sale this week for $2.50, so just $1.50 after this great new coupon! 

Saving - Welch's Fruit Fizz Sparkling Juice $2/1 Coupon & Deal!

There is a nice high value Welch's Fruit Fizz Sparkling Juice coupon available over here for $2/1 4-pack.  I recently noticed these on a price cut at Target for $2.99.  I am hoping they are still on price cut, what a great deal after coupon!  The coupon indicates they are available at Walmart as well, wondering the price there...anyone know?

Saving - Target Toy Clearance 70% Off!

Target has increased their toy clearance up to 70% off.  Although many of the Lego sets were still 50% off, many of the other toys were marked 70% off at my store!

This is the time of year I like to look around and grab gifts for birthdays, prizes, holidays and donation items.  Unfortunately the things I wanted this year, were mostly larger boxed items so will have to find a little space to hide them away.  Does that happen as kids get older, the toys get bigger?  And then it reverts back to smaller toys in the tweens, but they become more expensive?  *Sigh*

Saving - Reach $1/1 Coupon = Free Floss and Target & Walmart!

There is a nice coupon available over here good for $1/1 Reach floss product!  You may be able to find Reach dental floss at Target and Walmart for just under $1, so Free when you use the $1/1 coupon!

Saving - Target Bodega Coupons + Huggies Boxed Diapers Deal!

Target has released some coupons on their site good on the larger stock-up items found in their new Bodega section (where the holiday items have been moved from).  Head over here to check them out.

This week you can grab 2 Huggies diapers boxes, select varieties/sizes $37.99 each and receive a $10 Target gift card.

Plus, there are $5/1 Huggies diaper coupons included in the bodega coupons above.

Scenario:
Purchase 2 boxes $37.99
= $75.98
Use 2 $5/1 Target Bodega  cpns (if your store allows 2 Target printables)
PLUS Use 2 $2/1 Huggies cpns from Walmart 1/8 insert
= $61.98
Receive $10 gift card
= $51.98
*According to picture in Target ad, the Size 4 box has 124 diapers in it.  A jumbo pack as 27, so this would be just over 4.5 jumbo packs per box.  Or a total of 9, when purchasing 2 boxes.  Therefore at $51.98 total this would be about $5.78 a jumbo pack.  Not my stock up price for diapers, but certainly a nice deal, saving about $4 per jumbo pack!

Saving - Target Holiday Clearance 90%!

If you have been patiently waiting for the 90% discount on holiday clearance, now is your time!  Sioux Falls (West, I have not verified East) has hit 90% off on the holiday clearance area.  The little guy and I grabbed a few good buys this morning.

Remember the ornaments I told you about here.  Well, they are now just $.10 for 3!  That's just $.03 per craft project.  Plus they had bags of holiday sequens with a small glue bottle for just $.20!  Easy, fun and FRUGAL craft!

I spent about $20 and really walked away with a nice load of items I am excited to use.  Was thinking I needed to buy a tote to store it all.  Is that bad?  I met a nice man at Target this morning who was excited about $.50 socks and so many other fun buys for his grandchildren for next Christmas.  He said, "Now, if only I could practice some self-control".  Isn't that so true!  At 90% off it really is hard to practice self-control.  I start thinking of everyone I know and how they may be able to use something or where I could donate certain items, etc.  Ha!

Saving - Holiday Clearance Sales!

There are several stores busy offering clearance prices on their holiday merchandise.  Below I have put together some of my findings.  I have also included a list of coupons you may want to clip and take with you if you are going out.

Please feel free to leave your clearance findings in the comments.  I would love to hear what you are all finding!  And if you have other favorite stores that I have not included, leave a comment with your findings as well!!

Hobby Lobby - 66% off Christmas items. I just love grabbing baking items (like sprinkles, cupcake wrappers, frostings) and craft items! And don't forget cute ornaments!

HyVee - It appeared most items left from their Christmas supply were marked down by 75% off.  I hope you find the same.  It seems many HyVees may price on different schedules.  The other day (when it was 50% off) I found holiday themed reusable shopping bags marked to $.50.  I am thinking these will make cute (and GREEN) gift bags next Christmas.  And at $.50, it will be harder to find gift bags this size for that price!

Michael's - Items marked down to 75% off. Enjoy grabbing the "stocking stuffer" items that are originally $1, now just $.25. Items like crayons, notepads and more are good any time of year for birthdays, spare of the moment projects, etc!

Shopko - Christmas items are marked anywhere from 50-75% off.  There are several clothing items marked down up to 60% off as well.  (Note: Be weary of their signage, it can be confusing!)

Target - went 70% off on all Christmas items, aside from a few select candy items still sitting at 30% off.  However, many candy items are included in the 70% off!

Toys are also beginning to be marked on clearance 30-50% off.  Am holding out yet again for those hot 70% clearance sales to get stocked up for birthdays/Christmas for 2012!

Walmart - some items are trickling in at 75% off on Christmas items, as others are still sitting at 50%.

Toys are also being marked down to 50% off. 

Holiday Clearance Shopping Tips:
*Don't take prices for face value.  It doesn't hurt to scan prices, you just may be surprised to find it is less than what the sign indicates (and it saves you from any negative surprises at the register)
*Scan aisles for "holiday themed" items that may not have been moved to the designated clearance section.  Things like Ziploc baggies, Kleenex, Aluminum Foil, soaps, etc!  If you locate some, SCAN THEM!  (I located 15 ct gallon size Ziploc baggies in the normal aisle at Walmart tonight, no sign, for just $.56.  There are coupons for $1.50/2 that made these Free!)
*Check for shopping carts loaded with items just sitting around the clearance area.  Now of course, be sure they are not a fellow shoppers first!  These are typically return carts or carts of items being moved over to the clearance area.  You just might find those special items that no one else has yet. 
*Relax and Have Fun!  It can get chaotic in some stores around the clearance aisles.  Don't let others ruin your fun of bargain shopping!  Enjoy yourself!
