Kids ages 3 and up can head over to Michael's Craft Store from 10 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday to make a free bookmark, while supplies last. Some stores may even offer story time.
Unfortunately the kids and I cannot take advantage of that fun time, so I looked around in Yankton for something fun to do. If you are a Living,Laughing,Saving reader in the Yankton area, you can join the Yankton Community Library at 10:15 for Dr Seuss storytime! Maybe we will wear our wacky socks. Okay, maybe not because I did not pack any but it's the thought that counts, right?!

If you haven't heard, there is talk that milk prices are quickly on the rise. It has come to my attention that the Get N Go and Gas Stop deals on milk are no longer as of today. *:-(*
I have good news for the week though. Grab a gallon of milk for $1.98 this Thursday through Saturday at HyVee's 3-day sale! The sale is good on skim, 1%, 2% or Vitamin D and is a limit 2 deal. See other 3-day deals here.
I still have not tried it myself yet, but I have heard GREAT things about those that already freeze milk. A few tips I have been given:
*Open and empty some so that it has room to freeze
*Be sure to take out of the freezer well in advance of needing it, as it will take some time to thaw
*Use within a few days of thawing
