Living - Guest Post Walgreens Good Deals!
Thank you to reader, Tina, as she sent in the picture above of her stop at Walgreens this week where she scored a great deal!
She had made a previous trip to Walgreens and purchsed 2 SoftSoap Bodywash on sale for 2/$7 with a $5 Register Reward. She had 2 coupons (which I don't believe are available anymore), making the first purchase only $.25 plus tax.
She took her $5 RR back with her for her shop above and this is what she bought:
2 Captain Crunch cereal $1 per box
used $1/2 Captain Crunch from Redplum 8/29 or here
Vicks, clearanced for $1.59
used $1/1 Vick's P&G 8/29
Ponds, sale B1G1 Free $4.99
used 2 $1.50/1 here
Carmex $2, receive $2 RR
2 Trident Gum $1 ea
used $1/2 Facebook cpn here
used $1/2 Walgreens Sept Booklet in-store
Total = $6.33, used $5 RR
= $1.33 AND went home with a $2 RR!
Great job, Tina!
Saving - JCPenney up to 80% Clearance!
JCPenney has a big clearance event going on, with many things up to 80% off! The little guy and I took a quick trip over there this morning while Elizabeth was at Preschool. There was quite a bit throughout the store...kids clothes and shoes, adult clothes and shoes, purses, etc!
Although I did not get to really dig, as my little shopping partner was ready to go the second we got there, I did find some super cute girl shoes and a couple other items all for just $20!
I bought 2 pair girl shoes and 2 pair boys shoes and a boy's polo!
Come back and let us know what you find!
Note: Clearance does vary by region, city, even store. This is a heads up to keep an eye out on possible clearance.
